Short Take: Tivoli plans integration with IBM, HP, Cisco

IBM subsidiary Tivoli Systems announced an integration effort between its Tivoli NetView for OS/390 network management software suite and software from parent IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and Cisco Systems. The move follows similar integration efforts for Tivoli's Microsoft Windows NT and Unix-based management suites. Ties to HP's OpenView will roll out in the fourth quarter while integration with CiscoWorks 2000 and CiscoWorks BlueMaps and IBM's Nways Manager will be available next year.
