Teledesic, which is building a global, broadband "Internet-in-the-sky," has named John Keathley its director of government services. Keathley, whose experience ranges from government acquisition to program management and system integration, will serve as a liaison between the U.S. government and Teledesic, and will help define the government's requirements as a potential customer of Teledesic's advanced satellite communications system.
