Short Take: Southwestern Bell raises rates, caps access

Southwestern Bell is the latest ISP to raise its monthly Internet access fees to $21.95 and cap usage at 150 hours, starting August 1. The firm also will cut its ISDN service fees to $29.95 per month from $49.95. The announcement came one day after an identical one from fellow SBC Communications subsidiary Pacific Bell.
