Simple Technology introduced yesterday its new removable drives for notebook computers. The company created a 10GB and 14.1 GB removable hard drive for notebooks from Apple, Compaq, Dell, IBM, and Toshiba, among others. The drives have up to three times the storage capacity of current notebook computers. The upgrade costs about $0.10 per megabyte. Simple Technology drives include software for backward-compatibility and so files can be transferred to the new drive backward-compatibility.
