Short Take: Netscape develops Web-enabled business systems

Netscape Communications and other vendors are developing a set of open standards for the deployment of Web-enabled business systems. The standards are based on the Netscape ONE (Open Network Environment) and include HTML, Java, JavaScript, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, Common Object Request Broker Architecture, and NSAPI. Netscape's partners include Arbor Software, Brio Technology, Informix Software, and Oracle.
