Netscape Communications is delaying its beta test for Constellation, a technology for receiving "pushed" Internet content, to the second quarter of this year. The company had previously hoped to get a beta of Constellation out by the first quarter. Constellation will ship as a component of Communicator in the second half of 1997, said Edith Gong, a Netscape product manager. That means the final version of Communicator will be out earlier than Constellation, either at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter.
