Short take: Microsoft files contempt of court motion

Microsoft has filed a contempt-of-court motion against a man accused of fraudulently obtaining its software and reselling it. The suit alleges that Shawn LePorte has not complied with a court order to turn over property that the software giant believes was purchased with profits reaped from an elaborate scheme by LePorte and a network of conspirators. Microsoft originally filed suit May 26 in U.S. District Court in Houston.
