German Linux seller SuSE has opened a new Latin American headquarters office in Caracas, Venezuela. Xavier Marmol, founder of the Venezuela Linux User Group, has been hired as head of the new office, SuSE said in a statement. SuSE is one of the four major commercial versions of Linux, a clone of Unix that competes with Windows and Unix.
