Level 3 Communications, an emerging communications carrier, announced yesterday the company plans to expand its network services into Taipei, Taiwan and Seoul, Korea. Level 3 already is preparing to launch communications and Internet services in Hong Kong and Tokyo. The company said the expansion plans are pre-funded and Level 3 executives expect to begin offering service in Korea and Taiwan by the second half of 2001.
