IXC Communications, a telecommunications carrier recently acquired by Cincinnati Bell, posted a second quarter net loss of $114.2 million, or $3.53 a share, including charges. The results compared with a net loss of $102.5 million, or $3.30 a share, including charges for the same period a year ago.
