Short Take: Intel has single-port Ethernet server

Intel announced a single-port Ethernet-based print server that lets network-attached users route their printing requests over regular Ethernet or 100 megabits-per-second Fast Ethernet. The NetportExpress PRO/100 offers an autosensing feature that supports both types of Ethernet connections, and management software that guides users through installation, configuration, and management of the server. The new print server is available now for $399. A three-port version of the server is also available.
