Short Take: Disney regains access to AOL merger documents

The Federal Communications Commission has lifted an order barring Walt Disney and its legal counsel from inspecting confidential documents related to America Online's proposed merger with Time Warner. Disney was hit with the Sept. 27 order after it notified the agency that one of its outside attorneys had revealed summaries of confidential documents to unauthorized viewers. The order was lifted after Disney submitted measures to guarantee future violations do not occur.
