Short Take: Computer City acquires Userfriendly

Computer City, a computer superstore chain that is a subsidiary of Tandy, has acquired the assets of Userfriendly Computer Resources, a New York-based provider of one-on-one computer training and in-store computer time rental. Under terms of the agreement, Computer City purchased the assets of Userfriendly, including the Userfriendly name. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
