Cisco Systems says it plans to ship another series of voice-based enhancements to its line of data-focused routing devices. The new options include line cards and adapters that are tied into existing 2600, 3600, and 7500 series routers and add support for voice using the Internet protocol (IP). In addition, the company introduced a new high-density routing device for branch offices called the 3660.
