Short Take: Ciber buys e-commerce consultancy

Computer services firm Ciber has acquired Chicago-based Waterstone Consulting, a management consulting firm specializing in e-commerce supply chain and customer relationship management (CRM) practices. The acquisition marks Ciber's push into the supply chain and CRM market. Waterstone has more than 80 employees and annual revenues of about $15 million. The acquisition closed on October 29, 1999, and will be accounted for as a purchase, Ciber said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
