Short Take: Cayman announced its WAN TCP/IP-based router

Cayman Systems announced the GatorSurf LR, a high-speed wide area network TCP/IP-based router for small offices. The access device includes Internet Protocol address sharing capabilities that let up to 20 users or more share one address to reduce costs. Each user is then given an address that is hidden by the GatorSurf LR gateway. The product includes a high-speed serial port, an Ethernet link, and support for PPP. The GatorSurf LR router will be available within 90 days for $895.
