Short Take: AT&T, Time Warner in cable swap

AT&T Broadband and Time Warner Cable, the cable TV and Internet units of the two companies, have agreed to trade cable systems in Texas. Time Warner will receive a system serving about 82,000 customers in Corpus Christi while AT&T will take over a system reaching 98,000 subscribers in the Dallas area. Cable operators often swap systems in an effort to gain a stronger foothold in specific geographic regions.
