Short Take: AMD, Micron team on DDR memory

Advanced Micro Devices and memory manufacturer Micron Technology have teamed up to make it easier for computer engineers to obtain Double Data Rate (DDR) DRAM, a fast version of standard computer memory. AMD intends to release a chipset, called the 760, that will allow computer makers to pair its Athlon processor with DDR. Micron will sell DDR through its Crucial Technology site.
