Retail deals of the week, May 28, 2014

​It's all about new games this week, with the retailers battling to outdo each other with console deals and bonus games thrown into the mix.

EB Games

Dog day afternoon: Get the Xbox One with Watch Dogs, a Titanfall download and a Forza 5 download for AU$598.

Underdog: Watch Dogs is also bundled with the PS4, FIFA 14 and a month's access to Foxtel Play for AU$598.

JB Hi-Fi

Many game, such bonus: For AU$598, JB is bundling Watch Dogs with the PS4, FIFA 14 and NBA2K14, as well as a free download of the Superman movie that could, "Man of Steel".

Printing discounts: JB has cut prices on a number of printers, including the Epson XP410 All-in-One printer (now retailing for AU$89, $40 off ticket price). They're also offering 25 percent off ink when you buy a new printer.

Ahead of the curve: Check out JB Hi-Fi's discount email newsletter -- this week, they were offering $1,000 off the price of LG's 55-inch curved OLED TV, down to AU $4,999. But you need the barcode from the email to get the discount, so it may be worth signing up for future deals.

Target

Dogged determination: Keep an eye on the prices of the new games releases this week -- yesterday Target was offering Watch Dogs for AU$64 (Cache) but the price has already gone up. Still, it's worth keeping an eye on flash sales and deals if you want to pick up this title or other new releases like Wolfenstein.

This time, it's personal: ...With free Office 365 Personal (valued at AU$89) available with the purchase of any Mac computer.

Harlem Shake: Sony' Shake77 Hi-Fi System -- complete with 3,600 watts of power, DJ functions and cool mood lighting -- is down $200 to AU$1,099.
