RCA selling "Xbox Ready" TVs

Electronics conglomerate Thomson announced it has begun shipping a new line of TV sets for use with Microsoft's Xbox video game console. The new TVs will sport an "Xbox Ready" logo as part of a marketing agreement with Microsoft. Each set includes a Vport connection for hooking up a game console or DVD player using "component video" input, which provides a clearer image than standard connections. Eleven versions of the Vport are available, at prices ranging from $1,499 to $349.
