The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V is a full-featured compact megazoom replacing. In fact, both the old and new models use the same high-quality ultrawide-angle Sony G lens with a 10x optical zoom.
Other key features include 1080/60i movie capture with the capability to record stills and movies simultaneously; high-speed burst shooting at up to 10 frames per second at its full 16.2-megapixel resolution; and a high-sensitivity Exmor R backside-illuminated CMOS sensor. It can capture 3D stills and 3D Sweep Panorama for playback on 3D TVs.
The camera also has built-in GPS and a compass for recording shot location and direction.
The HX7V is currently being tested and a full review will post soon.
