The other day we were asked which eye we shot with and this got us thinking: which eye do the majority of us look through a viewfinder with?
It was just a usual day in CNET Towers, playing with gadgets and bashing out words, when a wedding photographer friend of ours popped up on instant messenger with this most interesting of questions.
We immediately held up a mock dSLR to our eye and discovered that it was our left.
Apparently our friend had just noticed that her second and third shooters all shot with their left eye and was feeling like a freak show as she was the only right-shooter she could think of. Adding further misery to her lot, we were all right-handed.
Her fears were soon allayed, however, when she found out that CNET Australia's fearless camera guru Lexy Savvides was also a right-handed, right-eyed shooter.
This begs the question fellow CNETters, which eye do you look through a viewfinder with?
