Palm lands handheld deal with BMW

Palm said Tuesday that it has landed a deal to provide handhelds to BMW dealers in Switzerland. The deal, with BMW's Swiss finance unit, calls for the handhelds to be used to provide pricing information such as calculating lease rates and adding up just how much it will cost a month to buy a Bimmer. The automaker's custom program, BMW Finance 1.0, can also figure out which model one can afford based on the monthly payment they are able to make.
