Paint and fireworks at 1600fps

What happens when you stick a firework in a bucket of paint, blow it up and film it in slow motion?

Well, you can probably guess, actually, but guessing isn't the same as seeing it in action. Slow-motion YouTube chaps the Slow Mo Guys (Gav and Dan), have provided us with the results — and they're just spiffing.

Filmed on a Phantom Flex at 1600fps, first the lads have to figure out how to get a firework to actually explode properly in a bucket of paint — but, once they do, it's an Earth-shattering kaboom of rainbow.

The fun starts at around 1:14.

It's kind of like Corridor Digital's Potion Overdose without the CGI.
