Following a series of leaks, Overwatch's Halloween update has been confirmed, and it's live now on all platforms.

As suspected, it introduces new Loot Boxes with Halloween-themed content, such as skins and victory poses. Notably, these items can be purchased with in-game currency, unlike what was offered during the Summer Games event. You get a free Loot box just for logging in.

Additionally, the update introduces a co-op Brawl mode where you'll fight against computer-controlled enemy characters.

Suspicions of the event's existence arose following a recent leak by the Xbox Store, which had revealed that seasonal Loot Boxes would provide new Halloween-themed items. Sony also confirmed their existence when a European PlayStation Blog post (via Polygon) reported that Halloween Loot Boxes were arriving on PlayStation Store on Wednesday, October 12.
