OpenNetwork Technologies, a maker of online-identity management software, said Tuesday that it has raised $10 million in a third round of venture capital financing. The round was led by Battery Ventures and included funding from J.P. Morgan and SI Ventures. The company raised $13 million in its previous round in 2000.
OpenNetwork's software helps businesses control access to confidential information and applications that they put on the Web and works with both Microsoft and Java-based systems. The Clearwater, Fla., company, founded in 1995, said it increased revenue by 60 percent and tripled its customer base last year.
