Odds and Ends: "QuickTime installer bloat" update; Knowledge Base updates

QuickTime installer bloat update Yesterday we covered a macbidouille.com story noting that the original version of the QuickTime 6.5.1 installer package, which was ~35MB in size, included fifteen identical copies of a 1MB image. Reader Justin Beek writes that Apple has apparently fixed the installer:

"Just checked and the files are much smaller now: Download via Web = 15.8MB; Download via Software Update = 17.4MB."
