Odds and Ends: More on OS X Settlement claims

More on OS X Settlement claims Yesterday we reported that users who participated in the class-action litigation against Apple regarding Mac OS X's ability to run on some G3 systems are beginning to receive claim forms. It now seems that some users who did not elect to participate in the lawsuit are also receiving claims.

Tom Niesen writes "I've received the claim form even though I've never elected to participate in the lawsuit. I've been fully satisfied with OS X and have been using (and purchasing) it since the 10.0 Beta days. I just though you might like to know that this claim form seems to be sent to registered OS X users, no matter whether they chose to join the lawsuit or not. I've since tossed the claim form, by the way..."
