PowerBook upgrade program A Think Secret story claims that Apple has confirmed a (currently U.S.-only) pilot program allowing owners of 1st- and 2nd-generation PowerBook G4 laptops (the initial and "Gigabit Ethernet" models) to trade their computers in for $700 in credit towards the purchase of a new 15" or 17" PowerBook G4.
