I'm a huge fan of space. Ihere on Crave . One of my dreams has always been to go to space, but one thing has always kept me from boldly going: the complete lack of beer.
Sure, here on Earth we can get "Juggaloism are developing a beer that can be consumed in the microgravity environments of space." or , but we can't have it in space. But that's changing. Some scienticians who are tired of curing diseases like cancer and
The booze is the product of a joint venture between Austrailian 4 Pines, a brewing company, and Astronautics Australia, a space engineering firm. (No, I didn't know Australia had space engineering firms, either, but there you have it.) The companies see space tourism as a future moneymaking industry, and they want third space-aged cut.
Testing starts in November aboard a "vomit comet," or modified Boeing, owned by Astronauts4Hire. The plane will fly parabolic arcs that simulate the microgravity of Earth orbit. While weightless, one lucky guy will sample the beer in various ways while biometric data is recorded.
Hopefully science will prevail and a decent space brew can be developed. If so, I may finally respond to NASA's e-mail and do my stint aboard the ISS, which is something they've been bugging me about for years.
