Nokia N97 will launch on 19 June

The Nokia N97 is a touchscreen with a slide-out Qwerty keyboard and 32GB of memory comin' straight outta Espoo, Finland -- and it's hitting our shops on 19 June

With its Qwerty keyboard and 32GB of on-board memory, the Nokia N97 is packing features that send shivers down our gadget-loving spines.

Now Nokia has announced that the powerhouse phone will be on sale on 19 June for £499 SIM-free. You can queue up for the slidey, Qwerty goodness at the flagship Nokia store in Regent Street, in London, or grab it from Nokia's online shop, where it's been available for pre-order since May.

If you want to get it on contract, the N97 will be available from several networks starting on 26 June.

The N97 has earned its buzz with the promise of a 89mm (3.5-inch) touchscreen, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity, and a 5-megapixel camera. Nokia promises the N97 will also ship with its newly birthed Ovi Store already installed, so you can start adding games and apps right away.
