New Star Wars games unveiled at E3

LucasArts brings out the big guns as the company unveils its lineup of Star Wars-related games at the E3 show.

LucasArts brought out the big guns as the company unveiled its lineup of Star Wars-related games at the big E3 show.

Two of the games, Racer and Phantom Menace, had been announced earlier, but the third game, titled Episode I: Obi-Wan Kenobi, was unexpected.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a More E3 news first-person shooter that allows players to assume the role of a young Obi-Wan. Although LucasArts provided few details, the audience was treated to a short film that documented motion-capture sessions for the game and included a few minutes of gameplay.

Another title, Episode I: Insiders Guide, was also introduced. More of a multimedia title than a game, it will include scenes from the film and the making of the film, with interviews of cast and crew, audio clips, and more. (Full story.)
