Nikon has revealed its latest line of Coolpix compact cameras, featuring a number of quirky functionalities like an in-built projector, OLED technology and touchscreens.

Four new compact cameras were unveiled today, including the curiously titled S1000pj (we're hoping the pj stands for pyjamas), which features a one-touch projector that displays photos up to 40 inches on any flat surface.

Also released today was the Coolpix S70 which is one of the first cameras released in Australia to use an OLED capacitive touchscreen.

All the cameras released today come with a 5x optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens.
