Neverland looks pretty magical in new 'Pan' trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures releases a new trailer for "Pan," the story of how Peter Pan became the hero we all know, and it looks like it's going to be pretty special.

Are you ready to fly back to Neverland?

Warner Bros. Pictures released a new trailer on Monday for "Pan," a retelling of the story of how Peter Pan, played by Levi Miller, discovers his destiny and becomes a hero in the magical world of Neverland.

In the clip, we get our first look at Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) and Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara), and director Joe Wright's vision of Neverland. And man, Neverland looks pretty magical, with floating balls of water filled with fish, all sorts colorful creatures flying about and elaborate ships sailing through air and sea.

Of course, looks only gets you so far, and the story needs to be compelling to make a movie worth watching. The trailer, which you can watch above, seems like a good start, but we'll have to wait until "Pan" hits theaters to determine if it will be worth the watch.

"Pan" is scheduled to premiere in theaters in the US on October 9, and in the UK on October 16. A release date for Australia has not yet been revealed.
