Netizens Mobilize to Fight Censorship

In a response to the Internet censorship proposal approved yesterday by the House Conference Committee on Telecommunications Reform, advocates for free expression online are speaking out against the proposal and seeking ways to halt the progress of the Net censorship movement.

The American Civil Liberties Union and The Center for Democracy and Technology each want to take the proposal to court on the grounds that it violates the First Amendment.
