Musician creates catchy dance remix from 'Game of Thrones' clips

Musician Chris Lohr used footage of random sounds and dialogue from the first two seasons of HBO's "Game of Thrones" to create a pretty catchy song that you just can't help but tap along with.

King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy) isn't laughing here, but he sure has a good chuckle in musician Chris Lohr's GoT dance mix. Helen Sloan/HBO

Music is a normal part of daily life for the people of Westeros and Essos, and musician Chris Lohr has used clips from the first two seasons of HBO's hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" and turned them into a pretty catchy song and music video.

To create the clip, Lohr took several scenes from the show -- scenes like the members of the Night's Watch chanting "Sword" to convince Jon Snow to show them Longclaw, and Tyrion kicking on the dungeon door when he's imprisoned in the Eyrie -- and edited them together to create a "Game of Thrones" dance remix. One of the best clips is of then-King Robert Baratheon laughing, as the rambunctious ruler was wont to do in the show's first season.

The whole thing comes together really well to create a catchy dance remix that's well worth the two-and-a-half minute listen, and you definitely won't be able to help but tap along as the song plays. You can check it out for yourself in the clip below, and who knows, maybe you'll even hear something similar the next time DJ Hodor spins the "Rave of Thrones."

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is expected to return to HBO in the spring of 2016, when we'll all learn once and for all whether Jon Snow is dead dead or just "dead wink-emoji."
