Microsoft Build keynote: Join us Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. PT (live blog)

Microsoft is kicking off its 2014 Build developer conference with a three-hour keynote extravaganza. New Windows? New phones? Xbox One surprises? Tune in to find out.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Handout

Microsoft's last CEO Steve Ballmer was famously all about the developers, and now Satya Nadella will get the chance to show his coder chops by kicking off his company's 2014 Build conference. Build is a three-day series of sessions and education for devs, aimed at getting them up to speed on what's new in Windows, Windows Phone, Xbox -- and anything else.

Microsoft has scheduled an epic three-hour keynote to kick things off and we'll be there live for the full presentation, bringing you every piece of news worth noting as it happens. We'll have live video from the event as well, including live analysis. And, since Amazon's event will be going on at the same time, look for some video coverage from there, too, featuring Brian Tong, Donald Bell, and Ashley Esqueda.

Again, the event starts at 8:30am PT. Check your local time zone, and then set your bookmarks below to join in the live-blogging fun.
