Marimba, a supplier of technology that lets companies distribute and update software over the Internet, today announced its entry into the European market as the continent's enterprise organizations begin to embrace e-business.

The company's first foray into the European market will be based in the United Kingdom from where Marimba UK will try to address the growing demand for Internet infrastructure solutions.

"With the e-business market predicted to rise significantly, we are seeing many European enterprise organizations fast developing e-business strategies," said Marimba UK vice president Keith Schroeder. "Organizations want to benefit from the dynamic use of Internet-based systems, but want to avoid the administrative and management complexities."

With the launch of the Marimba UK, the firm's clients will be able to use Marimba's Castanet 4.0 Internet Service Management software which provides an Internet-based infrastructure to deliver mission-critical e-business applications and services.
