Acer Display, NEC-Mitsubishi and IBM came out on top in a survey of customer satisfaction within the LCD (liquid-crystal display) industry, according to market researcher DisplaySearch. Each of the three companies was chosen based on results from surveys submitted to the largest customers and suppliers in the flat-panel industry. Among the 22 companies that answered surveys were Apple Computer, Dell Computer, Gateway, Philips Electronics, Sharp and Sony.
Acer Display is the top active-matrix LCD supplier, according to the survey. NEC-Mitsubishi is the top LCD monitor manufacturer. IBM is the top notebook maker.
