When the ferocious and furry "Monster Book of Monsters" scampered into "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," collectors of Hogwarts memorabilia couldn't wait to get their hands on this required reading for Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures class.

More than a decade later, fans and collectors can finally snag the official replica of "The Monster Book of Monsters" from Sideshow Collectibles for $295 (about £199 or AU$385).

Complete with fangs, fur and face, the replica measures 12 inches (304.8mm) by 9.25 inches (234.95mm) by 2.25 inches (57.15mm).

It also comes with a separate, limited edition of "Harry Potter: The Creature Vault," an in-depth guide with concept illustrations, behind-the-scenes photography and more about the unusual creatures featured in the films including the merepeople, unicorns, centaurs, mandrakes, house elves, werewolves, trolls, Nagini the snake, and Harry's owl, Hedwig.

There is also a removable bestiary poster and an interactive Eyelops Owl Emporium catalog, as well as a new poster featuring concept art of the various dragon breeds shown in the films.

Expected to ship this summer, "The Monster Book of Monsters" replica can now be preordered from Sideshow Collectibles.
