J.K. Rowling: Trump is worse than Voldemort

After some controversial comments from Donald Trump, folks on Twitter started comparing the presidential candidate to He Who Must Not Be Named. But author J.K. Rowling takes it a step further.

If the media stops saying his name, will Donald Trump make like Voldemort and just go away?

That might be more feasible than sending him into space as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos proposes or getting Trump to stop tweeting as TV commentator Bill O'Reilly suggests.

After Trump proposed to ban all Muslims from entering the United States, a number of folks took to Twitter and the blogosphere to compare the presidential candidate to Lord Voldermort, the evil antagonist from the Harry Potter series who was often referred to as He Who Must Not Be Named.

That comparison didn't sit well with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who retweeted a BBC report of the Voldemort-Trump connection, adding a comment that comparison was off.

"How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad," she tweeted, which is saying a lot since Voldemort was pure evil.

So, there you have it. Trump is worse than a monstrous wizard, according Rowling.

Now, if only we knew where to find Trump's horcruxes so he doesn't try to Make America Great Again forever.

In the meantime, you can get Trump off your iOS device by following a handy how-to guide.
