Play the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' '80s a-pop-a-quiz!

How much do you know about the '80s-tastic sounds of the latest "X-Men" movie?

Fox; Luke Westaway/CNET

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set in the 1980s, complete with giant hair, pastel clothes, and shoulder pads of apocalyptic proportions, plus a soundtrack to match -- so we're here to test your knowledge of the X-cellent '80s sounds of the "Apocalypse"!

Set in 1983, the film features era-defining early-'80s touchstones, from early heavy metal to classic synth pop, from Metallica and Venom to the Eurythmics and Flock of Seagulls. The film also heads from colourful '80s America to the shadows of Cold War Eastern Europe, with non-English songs from Malaria, a German avant-garde act, and Progres 2, whose music fell foul of authorities in Soviet-era Czechoslovakia. The full track listing is at the bottom of this article.
