Among the company's latest is a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet hybrid with a detachable curved display according to a design patent. The US Patent and Trademark Office granted the patent in November, but apparently it went noticed until TheLeaker.com published details about the patent on Sunday.
Unlike the Acer's, Intel's design features a curved keyboard base, which may not be ideal on all surfaces. Likewise, such a curve on a tablet could prove awkward for drawing or writing.
