In-box alerts you've got no money

Members of the Granite Credit Union in Salt Lake City can now get e-mail alerts sent to their cell phones if a check is about to bounce. The bank will introduce the service this month. Granite Credit Union is among the first banks to try such a service. Banks have been hesitant to offer so-called mobile banking, citing the additional costs and the relative failure to attract customers to Internet banking in general.
