Hola, Barcelona!

The CNET crew arrives in Barcelona for the GSMA World Congress.

Kent German/CNET Networks

It's the evening before the GSMA World Congress begins and I'm happy to report that almost the entire CNET crew has arrived here safe and sound. I'm here along with smartphone guru Bonnie Cha and CNET News' Maggie Reardon. Some folks from CNET UK are here as well, and we're just waiting for CNET's Ariel Nunez to arrive on Monday.

As Bonnie said in her GSMA preview, the Barcelona show will bring a lot of news. As the largest mobile phone show in the world, GSMA not only attracts people from across the planet, but also sets the stage for what will happen in wireless in 2009. Over the next four days we'll be scouring the massive Fira de Barcelona to bring you the latest news and the hottest handsets. Keep checking back often to see it all.

To help you set your cell phone schedule for the next few days, I've listed a few of the press conferences below. We'll follow up soon after each event to tell you what happened. Just keep mind that Barcelona is six hours ahead of New York and nine hours ahead of San Francisco.
