Grand Central spiffs up integration service

Company beefs up online service for shipping business information between firms over the Net.

Grand Central Communications on Monday beefed up its online service for shipping business information between corporations over the Internet.

The four-year-old company said that its Business Services Network '05 includes enhancements aimed at simplifying the process of tapping into Grand Central's hosted integration services. The company has revamped the tool used by programmers to visually design business applications that make use of the Grand Central service and other hosted services, such as those from Salesforce.com. Grand Central is also providing better administration tools to manage security policies.
