Fujitsu to License Sun's Java

Fujitsu has signed a deal to license Sun Microsystems' Java programming language to develop products and services for the Internet.

Fujitsu has announced that it will license Sun Microsystems' Java programming language to develop products and services for the Internet. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Japan-based company will offer Java-based programs and assistance to language developers and will use Java in its Internet access service business.

Fujitsu runs an online service called Nifty-Serve, operates a news service, and publishes teleparc, an online magazine.
