PHOENIX--Freepath is a cool presentation tool from Grassroots Software. It lets you cue up documents, sites and multimedia assets to display. It's great on a dual-screen display (for example, a laptop plugged in to a projector). The presenter has complete control over resources to display, and can easily hide the complexity of all the available resources from the audience. The $149 intro price is a little steep for an unproven concept, but the product could be priceless for professional presenters and for people who are good at jumping around during their presentations. Still, it's likely to be overkill for the occasional or linear-thinking PowerPoint jockey.
