Former Yahoo chief buys bundle of stock

Timothy Koogle, former chief executive of Yahoo, paid $938 in December to acquire 562,000 shares of stock, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Koogle relinquished his title as Yahoo's chairman and CEO last May to former Warner Bros. studio chief Terry Semel. Koogle in November sold 2 million shares of his stock for $15.75 to $16.86 a share for a value of $32 million. A week before, Yahoo President Jeffrey Mallett sold 250,000 shares for $4 million and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang sold 350,000 shares for $5 million.
