Finally, the silent-film and satirical-iPhone-short genres have merged--and the results are pretty hilarious.
This short video from three New York comedians considers what might happen if a human were forced to stand in for an iPhone.
Full disclosure: I came across this video in my Twitter stream, probably because I did improv about a decade ago with the guy who plays the human iPhone, stand-up comedian Nick Vatterott. Back then he was a funny guy who used a twig and piece of twine to hold up his pants. Today he's a funny guy who wins comedy contests and appears on TV, and I bet there's still a piece of twine hanging in his closet.
So check out Nick with two other up-and-coming NYC stand-up comedians, Alice Wetterlund and Matt Ruby. Be sure to watch all the way through to the end, some of the funniest bits are in the second half, like the human iPhone take on loading a YouTube video.
